HAMILTON — George O’Neal Berry, 82, died Feb. 20, 2017, at Sanctuary Hospice House-Tupelo. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home in Aberdeen with Billy R. Stevens officiating. Burial will follow in McDuffa Cemetery. Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. today at Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home in Aberdeen. Mr. Berry was born Nov. 21, 1934, to the late Jettie Olivia and Joseph Daniel Berry. He was previously employed with Ford Truck Assembly in Detroit, Michigan, and with Ford Truck Assembly, and owned Berry’s Front End and Air Conditioning Service, Town & Country Steak and Fish House and Berry’s Auto. He was a member of Church of God of Prophecy in Memphis. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Ellen Jackson Berry; and sister, Ila Dean Jackie. He is survived by his daughters, Tammie Davis, Kim Lee and Brandie Vaughan, all of Hamilton; sister, Vivian Benefiel of Hamilton; brother, Wayne Berry of Denham Springs, Louisiana; six grandchildren; and one great-grandson. Pallbearers are Matthew Davis, Dustin Lee, Dannie Smith, Jay Barnes, Tim Gardner and Robert Trimm.
