SULLIGENT, Ala. — Frankie Reese, Sr., 73, died Dec. 31, 2017, at his residence. Services are at 2 p.m. today at Otts Funeral Home Chapel with Glen Boman, Paul Shaw and Jimmy May officiating. Burial will follow in Shiloh Cemetery. Visitation will be two hours prior to services at the funeral home. Otts Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Reese was born Nov. 28, 1944, in Marion County, Alabama, to the late Thomas Morgan Reese and Ozzie Angeline Barnes. He was a 1963 graduate of Sulligent High School and was formerly employed with WFJ Trucking. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Houston Reese. He is survived by his wife, Vivian Reese of Sulligent; son, Frankie Reese, Jr. of Sulligent; daughters, Paula Baccus of Hackelburg, Alabama and Karla Trentham of Sulligent; sister, Elizabeth McKay of Gattman; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be John Tyler Baccus, Joseph Baccus, Jordan Baccus, Josh Trentham, James Aaron Trentham, Morgan Reese and Jaxon Trentham. In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to Children’s Hospital in honor of Amelia June Compton.
