COLUMBUS — Vivian McCrary, 69, died Dec. 27, 2017, in West Point. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Greater Mt. Zion Church with Rev. Doran Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Sturdivant Cemetery. Visitation is from noon to 5:30 p.m. today at Century Hairston Funeral Home of Columbus. Century Hairston Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Ms. McCrary was born Aug. 16, 1948, to the late Syretha and Payton McCrary. She was a retired factory worker and member of Greater Mt. Zion Church. She is survived by her two daughters, Monica McCrary Graham of Columbus, Georgia and Alfreada Bowen of West Point; one son, Mac Anthony McCrary of Fort Wayne, Indiana; five sisters, Ella Taylor of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Jessie Ruth Mosley of Denver, Colorado, Dorothy Schenck of Shelby, North Carolina, Bennie Bonner and Elizabeth Peary-Miller; three brothers, Payton McCrary, Elton McCrary and Terry Dumas; and seven grandchildren.
