WEST POINT ó Curlie D. Quinn, 85, died Feb. 3, 2018, at North Mississippi Medical Center-West Point. Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Mt. Pisgah MB Church of West Point with the Rev. Donald Wesley officiating. Burial will follow at Tibbee Community Cemetery. Visitation will be today from 3-6 p.m. at the church. Carterís Funeral Services of Columbus is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Quinn was born in West Point on May 5, 1932, to the late Pattie Mae Quinn and A.D. Quinn Sr. She was formerly employed by United Cement. He was a member of Community Friendship Union and Mt. Pisgah MB Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Willie Quinn, John Quinn, Hugh Lee Quinn, A.D. Quinn Jr., Leroy Quinn, Odessa Quinn and Julie Jackson. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Quinn of West Point; children, Lela Jack, Larry Quinn, Renee Rambus, all of West Point, Wang Miller of Atlanta, Georgia, Fanasial Quinn of San Diego, California and Angel Johnson of Raeford, North Carolina; siblings, Odell Quinn of West Point and Elise Yates of Chicago, Illinois; 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Memorial may be sent to Tibbee Community Development, 141 Community Road, West Point, MS, 39773.
