WEST POINT ó Kay Low Gable, 77, died March 4, 2018, at North Mississippi Medical Center-Tupelo. Services will be 2 p.m. today at Calvert Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jeff Shannon officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in West Point. Visitation will be today from 1-2 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Kay was born in Greenville on July 31, 1940, to the late Fletcher and Mary Lea Duke Low. She was a 1959 graduate of St. Joseph High School of Greenville. She was formerly employed by USF&G Insurance as a administrative assistant. She was also formerly employed as a Teacherís Assistant in the Meridian Public School District and a Communicant at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Clifton Gable. She is survived by her daughter, Kelly Gable Conway of Tupelo; sisters, Sandra McGaugh of Greenville, Judy Cannon of Greensboro, Georgia and Penny Crowson of Tupelo; stepmother, Alice Low; stepsister, Mary Otwell; stepbrother, Ronnie Kersh, all of Wilmot, Arkansas; one granddaughter and two great-grandchildren.
