COMO — Mary Beth Watt, 41, died May 12, 2018, at her residence. Services were at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Cooksville United Methodist Church near Macon with Glenn Miller officiating. Interment followed in Cooksville Cemetery. Visitation was 30 minutes before services at the church. Cockrell Funeral Home of Macon was in charge of arrangements. Ms. Watt was born Mar. 19, 1977, in Columbus, to Bud watt and Janet Wray. She was a graduate of Houston High School and Mississippi State University. She was a U.S. Coast Guard veteran and formerly employed as an auxiliary officer for Macon Police Dept., West Point Police Dept., the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture and Mississippi Dept. of Corrections in Marshall County. She was a member of Cooksville United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her son, Dalton Watt of Como.
