David Michael Coleman, age 59, passed away on Wednesday, September 5, 2018, at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 14, 2018, in the Nowell Massey Funeral Home Chapel in Louisville, Mississippi, with Rev. Tim Hisaw and Rev. James Reed officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. David was born December 12, 1958, to William and Bonnie Hisaw Coleman. He grew up in Louisville and was known to all his friends in Louisville as “Gopher”. He lived most of his life in Columbus, Mississippi, where he attended Vibrant Church and was the Maintenance Supplies Buyer at Omnova Solutions. David never met a stranger. He had a fun-loving spirit and a caring, compassionate heart. He loved his family, his many friends, the Mississippi State Bulldogs and his Savior Jesus Christ. David is survived by two sons, Tifton Coleman and Michael Coleman, both of Trinity Florida; his mother, Bonnie Hisaw Coleman of Louisville; his brother, Billy Coleman and wife, Cathy of Columbus; his niece, Anna Claire Coleman; and his nephew, Tyler Coleman. He was preceded in death by his father, William “Bill” Coleman. Memorials in honor of David may be given to First Baptist Church, P. O. Box 547, Louisville, MS 39339. Services are under the direction of Nowell-Massey Funeral Home, 724 North Columbus Avenue, Louisville, MS.
