MACON ó French H. Stewart, 65, died Sept. 11, 2018, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Tabernacle Baptist Church with the Rev. Armondo Adams officiating. Burial will follow at hallís Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon-5 p.m. Friday at Lee-Sykes Funeral Home Chapel and one hour prior to services at the church. Lee-Sykes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Stewart was born June 25, 1953, in Noxubee County, to Orietta Dantzler Stewart and the late Aaron Stewart Sr. He was a 1971 graduate of Noxubee County High School and was formerly employed as a construction worker. He was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brothers, John Lester and Charles Stewart. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Mary Harris Stewart of Macon; children, Antwan Riley, Kendell Little, Shalonda Noble and Orietta Washington; brothers, James Stewart and Aaron Stewart Jr.; and six grandchildren.
