COLUMBUS — Joyce Genevia Webber Clemmons, 63, died Feb. 16, 2019. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Friendship M.B. Church with the Rev. Stanley K. McCrary officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens. Visitation is from noon-7 p.m. Friday at Lee-Sykes Funeral Home. Lee-Sykes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Clemmons was born Sept. 14, 1955, in Columbus, to the late Julia Ella White Webber and Sterling Webber Jr. She was a graduate of Caldwell High School and Mississippi University for Women. She was formerly employed as a teacher with Columbus Municipal School District and was a member of Friendship M.B. Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Sterling Webber III. She is survived by her husband, Johnny Clemmons; children, Tenesa LaShawn Clemmons of Columbus, Tiffany Nicole Clemmons and John Christopher Clemmons, both of Arlington, Virginia and Tierra Jenae Clemmons of Atlanta, Georgia; siblings, Charles Webber of Lawton, Oklahoma, Floyd Webber and Anthony Sanders, both of Columbus, Lawrence Brown Sr. of Helena, Alabama, Daphne James of Caledonia and Kanesha Bell of Madison; and one grandchild. Pallbearers will be Fred Richardson, Anthony Sanders, Ollie Lee Jr., Bobby Webber, Ervin Webber, Larry Webber and Roger Webber.
