WINFIELD, Ala. — J. T. Alexander, 66, died Nov. 29, 2012, in Nashville, Tenn. Services are Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Norwood Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. B. B. Alexander officiating. Burial will follow in Piney Grove Cemetery. Norwood Funeral Home, Inc. of Guin, Ala., is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Alexander was born in Beaverton, Ala., to the late Wilburn Henry and Ada Christine Shirley Alexander. He lived in Winfield for the past 15 years and was a member of the Winfield Masonic Lodge #304. He was also a member of the New Fellowship Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Kay Alexander; brothers, Johnny, Mikie, Ray and Ricky Alexander. He is survived by his daughter, Tammi Daviau of Thompson Station, Tenn.; sisters, Peggy Collins and Patricia Lusk, both of Florida, Karen Brantly and Carol Hitchcock, both of Alabama; brothers, Jerry Alexander of Georgia, Marty, Austin and Charles Alexander, all of Alabama; four stepchildren, two grandchildren and four step grandchildren.
