OBITUARY
Cindy Gosa
VERNON, Ala. — Cynthia “Cindy” Gosa, 50, died Jan. 2, 2013, at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa, Ala. Services are today at 8 p.m. at Norwood Funeral Home Chapel with Jerry Pearson officiating. Visitation is four hours prior to services. Mrs. Gosa was born April 22, 1962, to the late Robert Eugene Johnson Sr., and Doris Teague Johnson. She was a member of First United Pentecostal Church. Survivors include her husband, Tom Gosa Jr., of Vernon; daughter, Tanya VanWinkle of Moline, Ill.; son, Christopher VanWinkle of Moline; stepdaughters, Tara Dixon and Samantha Dixon, both of Davenport, Iowa; sisters, Linda Evans and Dorothy Ross, both of Chesnee, S.C.; brother, Robert Johnson Jr., of Spartanburg, S.C.; and seven grandchildren.
