PHEBA — Sue White Stafford, 78, died Jan. 4, 2013, at the Carrington Nursing Center in Starkville. Services are Monday at 2 p.m. at Calvert Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Terry Rhodes officiating. Burial will follow in Pheba Cemetery. Visitation is Monday from 12:30 p.m.-2 p.m. at the funeral home. Ms. Stafford was born Aug. 28, 1934, in Chickasaw County, to the late Nancy Bell Huffman and James Rupert Boyce. She worked in the Clay County Schools Cafeteria for 20 years and was a member of Pheba Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Charles D. White, William Howard Brand and Bennie E. Stafford; sisters, Emma Mae Blansett, Ella Fitzpatrick and Lucy Jeannette Weed; and two grandchildren She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Watson of Durant; son, Danny White of Pheba; sisters, Nancy Morris of West Point, and Janice Millsaps of Pheba; and two grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Bubba White, Robert Parker, Carl Weed, Runal White, Ray Weed, Mike Salmon, Bilbo McNeel and Joe Salmon.
