OBITUARY
Woodie Mason
NOXUBEE — Woodie Mason, 55, died Jan. 4, 2013, at Noxubee General Hospital–Golden Triangle. Services are Saturday at 2 p.m. at Faith United Ministries with the Rev. Ronald Cockrell officiating. Burial will follow in Oddfellows Cemetery. Visitation is today from 1-5 p.m. at Carter’s of Macon. Mr. Mason was born Aug. 24, 1957, to Roberta Mason of Macon. He was formerly employed with Hightower Gas Station and Piggly Wiggly. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Ethel Mae and Johnny Earl Mason. In addition to his mother, survivors include his sister, Lucy Mason of Macon; and brother, Elbrist Mason of Jackson. Pallbearers are Henry Lockett, Eugene Smith, Lester Hopkins, Dave Skinner, Jessie Skinner, Patrick Hopkins and Ed Ballard.
