OBITUARY
Jim Stevenson
MACON — James “Jim” Stevenson died Jan. 1, 2013, at Baptist Memorial Hospital–Golden Triangle. Services are Saturday at Drake Hill UM Church in Brooksville with the Rev. Jerry Hinton officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation is today from 6-8 p.m. at Carter’s of Macon. Mr. Stevenson was retired from Cuneo/Lakebook Inc. He was a member of Drake Hill UM Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Millie Lathan Stevenson; siblings, Richard, Billy, Sammie, Tommy, Lillie, Corean, Julia and Rufus Stevenson; and children, Marlene, Charise, James Jr., and Carolyn Johnson Sanders. Survivors include his wife, Diana Hughes Stevenson; son, Jasper Stevenson of Macon; daughter, Lori Ann Laider of Miami; siblings, Luella Day and Willie Stevenson, both of Chicago; and four grandchildren.
