OBITUARY
Bernice Rector
MILLPORT, Ala. — Bernice Rector, 89, died Jan. 9, 2013, at Aurora Health and Rehabilitation. Graveside services are Saturday at Asbury United Methodist Cemetery with Danny Thompson officiating. Dowdle Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Rector was preceded in death by her parents, Ellis Newton Watson and Ora Bell Brown; husband, Robert Quinton Rector; and sisters, Pete Shelton and Sue Grice. Survivors include her daughters, Linda Wallace, Janice Rector and Sherry Spires; sons, Robert Rector, Danny Rector and Gregg Rector; sisters, Chris Lucious, Grace Hood and Ruby Betterton; 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Pallbearers are Terry Cline, Stan Rector, David Betterton, Evan Wallace, Wayne Bains, Winfred Oyler, Andrew Wallace and Quint Wallace.
