WIGGINS — The Rev. Lewis Edward Dixon, 84, died Jan. 12, 2013, in Hattiesburg. Services were today at Lighthouse Family Worship Center in Wiggins. Burial followed in Wiggins City Cemetery. Moore Funeral Services was in charge of arrangements. Mr. Dixon was the former pastor of Wiggins Church of God, Okalona Church of God, Hamilton Church of God and Murray Hill Church of God. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Dixon; and 11 brothers and sisters. Survivors include his children, Ethel Fairley and Sheila Havens, both of Wiggins, Rose Hilton of Shalimar, Fla., Debbie Dunn of Grand Bay, Ala., Gerald Dixon of Hattiesburg and Tom Pulliam, both of St. Elmo, Ala.; sister, Ida Nell Garrett of Petal; 11 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
