OBITUARY
Donny Weed
PRAIRIE — Donny Weed, 75, died Jan. 15, 2013, at Pioneer Hospital in Aberdeen. Services are Friday at 1 p.m. at Calvert Funeral Home Chapel with Bobby Brock officiating. Burial will follow in Macedonia Cemetery in Houston. Visitation is Thursday from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Weed was born Dec. 22, 1937, to the late Lucy Jeanette Boyce and Andrew Melvin Weed. He was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include his sisters, Bobbie Ann Weed, Kay W. Howard, Nancy Cheryl Weed, Linda Wilson and Penny McKellar, all of Prairie; brothers, Bill Weed of Scurry, Texas, John Weed of Dallas, Tony Weed, Melvin Ray Weed and Carl Weed, all of Prairie. Pallbearers are Timothy Weed, Dustin Weed, Scott Howard, Danny White, Alvis Warren and Robert Parker.
