COLUMBUS — Ruthie Mae Davis, 69, died Jan. 17, 2013, at Baptist Memorial Hospital–Golden Triangle. Services are Saturday at 11 a.m. at Charity Mission Full Gospel Baptist Church in Crawford with Bobby L. McCarter Sr. officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens. Visitation is today from 3-8 p.m. at Carter’s of Columbus. Ms. Davis was born Sept. 12, 1943, to the late William Stevenson and Ethel Caine. She retired from Sanderson Plumbing and was a member of Charity Mission Full Gospel Baptist Church. Survivors include her children, Bobbie Ann Davis, Tommie Davis, Eddie Chandler, Robert Chandler, Vicky Williams, Twanda Moore, Nicole Davis and Christopher Chandler, all of Columbus and Tony Chandler of Stockton, Calif.; siblings, Ethel Martin, Annie Mae Davis, Dorothy Selvie, Betty Cunningham, Geraldine Henley, Eddie Caine, Andrew King and Willie Caine, all of Columbus, Annie Henley of Brooksville and Willie Carter of Augusta, Ga.; 31 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers are Steven James Jr., Terry Cockrell, Brian Cockrell, Larry Parker, Andrew Bishop and Derrick Holliday.
