OBITUARY
David Gibbs
WEST POINT — David Gibbs, 76, died Jan. 13, 2013, at North Mississippi Medical Center. Services are Saturday at 11 a.m. at Third Mt. Olive MB Church with the Rev. Israel Lee officiating. Burial will follow in West Point Memorial Gardens. Visitation is today from 3-6 p.m. at the church. Carter’s Mortuary Services is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Gibbs was born May 28, 1936, to the late Henry Gibbs and Janie Gibbs. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a representative for the State of Mississippi. Survivors include his wife, Annie Gibbs of West Point; son, Karl Gibbs of West Point; sister, Coarene Stevenson of Muskegon; brother, Ira Gibbs of West Point; and one grandchild.
