MACON — James E. Robinson, 66, died Jan. 21, 2013, at Noxubee General Hospital. Services are Saturday at 2 p.m. at Mt. Bethel MB Church with the Rev. Earvin Gardner officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation is today from 1-5 p.m. at Lee-Sykes Funeral Home. Mr. Robinson was born Sept. 6, 1945, to the late Otis Robinson and Viola Robinson. He was a member of Mt. Bethel MB Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters and brothers. Survivors include his daughters, Shamekia Robinson and Lakeitha Smith, both of Macon and Eunica Robinson of Artesia; sisters, Peggy Rodgers and Annie Tate, both of Macon; brothers, Bennie Robinson of St. Louis and Otha Robinson of Macon; and six grandchildren. Pallbearers are Donshay Robinson, Terry Rice Jr., Jimmie Rice, Reginald Gillespie, Terry Howlett and Leonard Grisson Sr.
