COLUMBUS — Beulah Christine Ward Boozer, 99, died Jan. 23, 2013, at Trinity Healthcare Center. Services are Saturday at 1 p.m. at W.E. Pegues Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in New Chapel Cemetery. Visitation is two hours prior to services. Mrs. Boozer was born Oct. 31, 1913, to the late Robert Emmett and Eliza Antonette Kilgo Ward. She was a 1933 graduate of Vardaman High School. She was formerly employed as a seamstress at Play Craft in Saltillo and was a member of Saltillo United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Grady Boozer Sr. Survivors include her sons, Sam Grady Boozer of Madison and Emmett Brison Boozer of Jasper, Ala.; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers are Jerry Ward, Paul Ward, Don Ward, F.B. Boozer, Robert Boozer, Allen Boozer and Randy Boozer.
