OBITUARY
Geraldine Jennings
COLUMBUS — Geraldine Jennings, 65, died Jan. 26, 2013, at her residence. Services are Saturday at 2 p.m. at Christ MB Church with the Rev. Sammie Lyons officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Church Cemetery. Visitation is today from noon to 6 p.m. at Carter’s of Columbus. Mrs. Jennings was born Aug. 20, 1947, tot he late David Sloan Sr., and Charlotte Sloan. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Jennings; siblings, Ola Mae Keys, Daisy Sloan and Robert Sloan. Survivors include her children Charlotte Cunningham and Andrew Jennings, both of Columbus; siblings, David Sloan Jr., Lorine Swanigan and Jeanette Cockrell, all of Columbus; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Pallbearers are Robert Sloan Jr., Chris Sherrod, Jerry Swanigan, Spencer Swanigan, Victor Swanigan, Fredrick Colister, Eddie Swanigan and John Cockrell.
