OBITUARY
Anne Cockrell
CLINTON — Anne Cockrell, 87, died Jan. 27, 2013. Services are at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Cockrell Funeral Home Chapel with Russell Mord officiating. Visitation is one hour prior to services. Mrs. Cockrell was a graduate of Brooksville High School and King’s Daughters School of Nursing and Anesthesia. She was formerly the Department Head of Anesthesia at Sacred Heart Hospital in Gulf Breeze, Fla. She was a member of Gulf Breeze United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Julian F. and Iona Cockrell. Survivors include her sisters, Sweetnin Russell of Columbus and Jean Lavender of Clinton. Memorial may be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Floor 17, Chicago, IL 60601-7633 or to the Soule Chapel Cemetery Fund, c/o Robbie Taylor, 3076 Crawford Road, Crawford, MS 39743.
