OBITUARY
Rodney Waldrop
STARKVILLE — Dr. Rodney Wayne Waldrop, 61, died Jan. 27, 2013, at his residence. Services are Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Starkville with the Rev. Chip Stevens officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Garden Park Cemetery. Visitation is two hours prior to service. Welch Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Dr. Waldrop was a local family practice dentist for over 34 years. He was a member of First Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Delbert Dever Waldrop Sr., Dr. Odessa Cooper Waldrop. Survivors include his wife, Sandra Smith Waldrop of Starkville; daughters, Dr. Rachel Waldrop Kennemur of Starkville and Dr. Marla Evan Waldrop of Jackson; and brothers, Dudley Joe Waldrop and D.D. Waldrop Jr., both of Starkville.
