OBITUARY
Betty Kennedy
CALEDONIA — Betty Waltman Kennedy, 65, died Jan. 29, 2013, at Baptist Memorial Hospital–Golden Triangle. Services are Saturday at 1 p.m. at Lowndes Funeral Home with Jimmy Banks officiating. Visitation is one hour prior to services. Mrs. Kennedy was born Nov. 18, 1947, to the late Everett and Bonnie Moss Waltman. She attended Lighthouse Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Donnie Kennedy; and brother, Jimmy Waltman. Survivors include her children, Lynn K. Langford of Winterhaven, Fla., Rodney Kennedy of Hamilton, David Kennedy of Steens, and Becky Kennedy Herrin of Hixson, Tenn.; siblings, Freddy Waltman of Ames, Okla., Sandra Vause of Florence, S.C., Francis Waltman of Ocean Springs, Kay Cowan of Crestview, Fla., Charles Waltman of Malvera, Ark., Ruth Stone of Gulfport, Judy Meadow of Muscle Shoals, Ala., and Delia Bond of Caledonia; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
