OBITUARY
Bertha Brown
COLUMBUS — Bertha Mae Brown, 63, died Feb. 19, 2013. Services are Saturday at 11 a.m. at Canaan MB Church with the Rev. Jimmy Pounds officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens. Visitation is today from 1-6 p.m. at Lee-Sykes Chapel. Ms. Brown was born Dec. 27, 1949, in Columbus to the late Frank and Leatha McGregory Sr. She was a member of Canaan MB Church and was formerly employed as a cook at Barnhill’s Restaurant. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Dan O’Neal. Survivors include her children, Cassandra Brown, Kevin Brown, Tosha Brown, Antonio Terry and Tenika Terry; siblings, Lula Johnson, Henritta McGregory, Geneva McGregory, Annie Payne, Lucy Payne, Eddie McGregory, Kent McGregory, Johnny McGregory, and Frank McGregory Jr., all of Columbus; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
