SULLIGENT, Ala. — Robert Joseph Frazier, 84, died Feb. 19, 2013, at his residence. Services were today at 11 a.m. at Norwood Funeral Home Chapel with Sis. Carol Lambert officiating. Burial will follow in Wofford Cemetery. Mr. Frazier was born in Missouri Valley, Iowa, to the late Wilbur Harold and Verna Mary Ellen Egan Frazier. He was a member of the Oak Hill Methodist Church and had lived in the Sulligent area since 1972. He was a veteran of he Korean and Vietnam War and served in the U.S. Navy for 24 years. He attended the University of Oregon for two years and was a member of the American Legion Post #32 in Sulligent. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, William Frazier, Don Frazier and Kenneth Frazier; and sister, Rosemary Payton. He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Jean Jackson Frazier of Sulligent; daughter, Rebecca Nolen of Sulligent; sons, Robert Matthew Frazier and Spencer Eugene Hill, both of Sulligent; sisters, Joan Ryan of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Ann Frazier of Albuquerque, N.M.; brothers, James Frazier of Lombardy, Ill., and Fred Frazier of Missouri Valley, Iowa; three grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Oak Hill Methodist Church.
