OBITUARY
Bobby Newman
COLUMBUS — Bobby “Bonk” Newman, 55, died March 6, 2013. Services are Saturday at 11 a.m. at Lee-Sykes Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. James E. Samuel officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery. Visitation is today from noon to 5 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Newman was born April 1, 1957, to the late Jimmy and Mattie Newman. He was employed with Graham Roofing. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Barksdale Newman. Survivors include his daughters, Tameka L. Marshall and Jennifer Barksdale; sisters, Ebbie Mason and Annie Jamison; brothers, Johnny Newman, Willie B. Newman and Jimmy Newman; and four grandchildren.
