I spent nearly 30 years in the military. No time did I wonder who had my back. Early I was stationed in Germany from 1959 until 1962. I traveled Europe with my military ID without worry. Even during the building of the Berlin Wall, I never worried if the U.S. government had my back. I served in Panama after the invasion, in Egypt after the invasion, in Romania after the collapse of the Iron Curtain. I might have been naive but I had no worry that if I had strayed off, the U.S. would have had my back.
Today, if an American is detained in a hostile country, he or she can rot in prison.
Give the Iranian the go-ahead to make a nuclear weapon to use at will. Give Cuba a status to be like a freedom-loving nation. This same administration wants to take our Second Amendment right away, either removing the ammo or making it harder to buy weapons.
The time has come to stand up, speak up. Let your voice be heard. Time is not on our side. Think, Pray, Vote.
The silent American should be enraged. Will they vote their conviction this next election, will they stand up and say enough is enough?
I am from the government and I want to help you. Do you believe that?
