So, a “pious” California Muslim killer showed “no outward signs of violence.” It’s called “slipping under the radar.” As usual, the gun control freaks immediately called for more gun control laws, which, by the way, are unconstitutional. Read the Second Amendment, using the definitions used when it was written. The problem is not gun control, nor the lack of it. Liberals will never open their eyes and admit that every one of these horrendous mass murders have occurred in “gun-free zones.”
I fear America cannot withstand another anti-gun president or Congress. If any of the victims, anywhere these cowardly attacks have happened, would have been “legally” armed, it’s highly probable that a lot fewer innocent people would have been killed or injured.
Obama is determined to soften our military as much as he can before he’s outta there. I do not think that women should be placed in any combat positions. When they are taken prisoner, especially by militant jihadist Muslims, their fate will be beyond horrible. I agree that some may have the mindset and physical ability to be placed in perilous situations where they may be called upon to kill or be killed, but not everyone will fit that bill. Not even all men do, but at least the odds are better.
In Mike Luckovich’s cartoon of Lady Liberty in a casket, “Someone shot her,” it wasn’t a patriot but a terrorist. Gun control doesn’t control guns. Its objective is to control the population so that a “benevolent” government can decide what’s best for us, including letting certain elected “servants” hold office for life, and maybe pass the chair down to their offspring. Kinda like Communist countries, you know.
Our Legislature should get on the drug court bandwagon. The fly in the ointment is money. The school system already gets almost as much as all the other recipients of state tax monies combined, yet they holler for more. The “pie” is only so big and others must take a cut if the schools are to get more. It’s simple math, if that’s even taught any more.
