Found Chism’s comment interesting
I opened my news this morning WLOX.COM and found an article titled “Mississippi Lawmakers React To Folks Crossing State Lines for Powerball.” I do not live in District 37 and I do not know if you have access to or read other headlines from other newspapers or news reports in other areas, but I thought it interesting that Rep. Gary Chism was interviewed for the article and when asked his opinion on Mississippians crossing state lines to play the lottery his answer in the article was: “Sure a lot of suckers, ain’t it?”
If this is what our elected official thinks of the people he represents and the people in the state of Mississippi, then it’s no wonder the state of Mississippi has bad funding for roads and schools. Take a look at the states that have the lottery and check out the funding for their roads and schools.
