The socialist protesters turned out in Chicago and Trump canceled rally for fear of violence to those in attendance. I am thankful no one was shot. You know it was in Chicago.
After seeing the anarchist Bill Ayers there protesting, I may have to swing my support to the Donald. If he is good enough for Dr. Carson and Dr. Jeffress, he can’t be all that bad.
I will say one thing about the Donald, he has stirred up the campaign for president this year. The liberals are beside themselves, see “Trumped” (Local Voices) in the March 11 edition of The Dispatch. The column says the electorate has made Washington what it has become, because we have voted the same types in over and over. This is because the choices were not there maybe.
Having a couple political outsiders running has the establishment wonks trying to figure out why the new kid is getting all the attention. Maybe he is talking about us becoming a great nation again. A little “National Pride” will not hurt. I understand some of the examples used are just that. The “Great Wall of Mexico” and who is paying for it, get over it. The bigger picture is: Make America great. Stop illegal immigration and enforce our laws. Rebuild our military, who keep us safe and those safe that loath them and would flee to Canada to keep from serving.
I like the saying, “Love America or leave.” Some of us might buy your ticket, one way of course.
If all the older, under-educated voters — as we conservatives are called by some from the liberal side — will get out take a stand, we can make a difference and change this nation for the good and for our kids.
These are my thoughts.
God bless America.
