I am a lifelong resident of Oktibbeha County. On the news Monday, April 18, 2016, I saw Tupelo is passing bond bills to repair their roads and infrastructure. You wonder why the supervisors of Oktibbeha haven’t done the same. If some of them had the “backbone” to issue bonds, they could have gotten money four or five years ago for almost zero interest, but I guess they want job security rather than what they can do for the good of the lifelong residents of Oktibbeha county.
