Tired of baggy pants
I understand that we have an ordinance in the City of Columbus against baggy pants — or droopy drawers — or whatever you want to call it.
I was raised with family values. I tried to raise my children with family values and Christian views. However, it really upsets me to see young men, black or white, or even some older men, walking around with their pants hanging down so they have to “belt them” around their butt or lower and/or hold them up. I don’t personally like seeing their underwear. If they want to go around inside their homes in this manner, so be it! But, please, please don’t walk down the streets or go in the stores with your butt hanging out.
Surely your parents taught you better.
Wouldn’t your mother be ashamed of you?
Think about this the next time you choose to dress in this manner. Think about the other person (or persons) with whom you might come in contact. They have rights too!
Sometimes I encounter this behavior and it’s all I can do not to say anything. However, in this day and time, I must admit I’m afraid. America isn’t supposed to be this way.
Bring back the good old days.
