Democracy in action
Most of the electronic and print media as well as social media, even his own party’s pundits predicted a Clinton victory. But Trump won. And, it’s not a narrow victory. Why did he win? He has never held a position either in his nominating party, nor has he any experience running the government. But, Americans wanted to see him as the 45th president.
No established formula or pollster’s prediction worked in this election. It’s like an independent candidate, who ran campaign by himself, and people voted for him. That’s what called democracy as outlined by Abraham Lincoln. So democracy wins in this election. Let’s hope for the best.
