To Columbus’ finest, the men in blue …
This past Friday night, Dec. 23, we enjoyed a family gathering eating a pre-holiday meal at Little Dooey East. Upon arriving home afterwards, my wife discovered she had left her purse at the restaurant (to be closed for a few days). We quickly returned to the restaurant following many phone calls to find the doors locked and no one available.
Searching for answers, I located a police officer nearby. K-9 Officer Robert Equries was prompt to call the dispatcher who was able to locate the manager who in turn promptly met officer Equries and me at the East Columbus location. The courteous and prompt action by Officer Equries avoided a dreadful weekend for my wife.
Many Thanks to Officer Equries as well as other “Men In Blue” who go out of their way to be of assistance to others who may live, visit and/or work in the Columbus area.
