'I once met Willie King'
A large white van pulled up to Marvin's lumber yard gatehouse. Inside was an elderly black couple. The man gave me his ticket for some 2x4s. I opened the van's back doors and saw the lumber along with guitars, amplifiers and a drum set. Then I realized who my customer was, Willie King.
I had heard King play at the Howlin' Wolf Festival in West Point, so I said to him, "You're Mr. King."
He replied, "No, I'm Willie."
