What still unites us?
Pat Buchanan’s article August 27 in the Dispatch was the title of his commentary. He stated some real facts and thoughtful information. There are those among us that would like the America, that we know not to exist any more. What do they want? I don’t think they have thought it through. Just change the way we have lived for hundreds of years. And to top it off, we have a president the left does not like. If a progressive or a liberal democrat was in office, things might be better in their mind. America has over come a lot of wrongs in our history for the better. Race relations have become better until the “race baiters” needed a cause to bring money in their coffers. You can try to change your thoughts of history, but you can’t change history. What ever the “Anti-America” think about the grassroots American, can they explain the response to the floods in Texas? Neighbors helping each other, strangers helping strangers. More private citizens take the initiative to come to aid of others with their boats, etc. Those Texan didn’t wait for the government to start. That is what America is all about, helping each other, not protesting because we don’t like the others ideas. Have you heard of “Antifa” or “Anarchist”. If those would get a real job, oh! Yeah, that is their job. Probably no withholding from their pay, will protest for cash.
To my American friends it is time to pray for our nation. We are in a crisis, we need to united as one. We can over come those that want a different America, but we will have to unite as one.
God Bless America and give us another chance please.
