A call to action on separation policy
Immigration is a complex issue, and people of good faith can disagree on the best policies. However, I’m sure most of us can agree that it is wrong to separate children from their parents. As the mother of a young daughter, I can only imagine the pain and fear experienced by the children and parents who are currently being separated at our border with Mexico.
I firmly believe that America can do better than this. In fact, our moral conscience demands it. America’s resources are more than adequate to address this issue in a more humane way.
If you agree with me, I urge you to contact our federal legislators. Ask them to bring an end to the current policy of separating children from their parents at the border.
