Congressional hearing
Does the phrase “Kangaroo Court” sound familiar? Guilty until proven innocent? The Democrats go back to yearbook posts to make their case against Judge Kavanaugh. Pathetic! Because, after his great opening statement, the only thing they could accuse him of was his fondness of beer. Tom T. Hall would be proud, because Tom had a song, “I like beer.” The liberal Dems tried time after time to go after this man. The problem they had was, he was smarter than the whole lot of them. Any time a question was asked and he gave a great answer, they would over-talk or try to stop him. It was clear the judge was more intelligent than all of the Dems. Senator Graham was one of the Republicans that stood strong in favor of the judge, a breath of fresh air to speak with such fervor.
I feel sorry for Ms. Ford, who was used by the Democrats. She wanted indemnity and we’ve seen how the Dems operate. They could care less about Ms. Ford, as long as they continued the anti-Trump agenda. Some of the Democrats will do anything; they want to stop any and everything Trumps wants. No matter what is good for the country, they hate Trump a lot more than they love America. As Senator Graham so eloquently said, “God help us if the Democrats get power.” It has been brought to light, that taxpayers have paid for sexual abuse charges to go away in congress. I wonder how many of the pious male Democrats on the judicial committee spent that money. We all know that one member lied about serving in Vietnam. What else has he done?
Now, the Republicans have agreed to an FBI investigation, so the RINOs maybe will vote for the Kavanaugh nomination. That is yet to be seen. I’ll say the Dems stick together, the RINOs need to change their party. The judge said he has nothing to hide, but his opponents are trying to delay, delay, delay. I’ll say they are doing a good job at that. The Dems might find out their witness was not truthful or mistaken. As Senator Graham said, “What goes around, comes around.” Yogi Berra said, “deja vu all over again”
It is a sad day in America when some leave a hearing and run to the first microphone they can find or pout and don’t vote. Very mature of them. That is where we are in this country.
The only thing we deplorable, crumb grabbing Trump supporters can do is vote in November or we’ll get what we deserve. If all my critics would take a deep breath and think for a moment, “Make America Great Again” is not bad.
