Well as the temperatures slowly drop at night, it is just about time to move indoors and watch some high school basketball.
Over the next couple of weeks, we will visit with several area prep basketball coaches and share their thoughts on the upcoming season. And yes, soccer fans, don't worry ...if staying outside on these cold nights is your cup of tea, we will also be previewing prep soccer.
All the fun gets underway next week. The Starkville Academy girls open play in the East Rankin Academy Invitational. The Oak Hill Academy girls open play in the Benton Academy Invitational. The Heritage Academy girls open play in their own invitational tournament in Columbus.
Ah yes, it is indeed that time of year !!!
