MSU fine arts students show final work

Graduating seniors in the Mississippi State University Bachelor of Fine Arts program will show their work March 29 through April 8, with a public reception April 7, from 5:30 to 6:45 p.m. in the Department of Art Gallery in McComas Hall, and from 6:45 to 8 p.m. in the MSU Visual Arts Center at 808 University Drive. Refreshments will be served; the community is invited. 

 

Students participating include Micah Williams of Blytheville, Ark., who has created a photographic documentary of Palmer Home for Children in Columbus, making a series of diptychs in 35mm black and white film.  

 

Others are Jerry Wolf of Starkville, Gracie Nichols of Meridian, Ashley Jackson of Byram, Steve Joshlin of Blue Mountain, Ashley Hubbard of Joliet, Il., Caroline Walker of Iuka, and Jean Jackson of Laurel. 

 

Also exhibiting are Beth Rhodes of Biloxi, Drew Robertson of Newton, Justin Abrams of Prentiss, Cathy Crow of Mathiston, Amber Orgill of Brandon and Anna Aldridge of Batesville. 

 

Rounding out the group are Shelby Cauthen of Madison, Ioana Demian of Bais Mare, Romania, and Zachary Harris of Ocean Springs.
