Crime Report 4-20

The Columbus Police Department reported the following incidents:
- Randle Mckinstry, of 23 Hill Drive in Columbus, reported to police Tuesday at 8:14 a.m. someone had broken into his semi-truck between the hours of 3:30 a.m. and 8 a.m. and stolen his property. He told police an LG touch-screen phone, a Motorola Razor phone, two baskets of clothes, a bottle of cologne, a pair of shoes and several DVD''s were taken. Entry was gained into the truck through the driver''s side door.
- Julian Thomas Madrid, of 102 Newbell Road in Columbus, reported to police Tuesday at 9:09 p.m. that someone had broken into his 2008 Honda Accord and stolen his property. Madrid told police he had made a visit to a residence located at 1002 3rd Ave. S. at about 5 p.m. and returned to his car at 7 p.m. Upon returning, he found missing two iPods, a phone charger, a hat, a pair of Oakley sunglasses and a pair of Nike shoes. Madrid believes someone may have broken into the car via the sunroof.
- Sherry Lynn Taylor, of 2419 3rd Ave. S. in Columbus, reported to police coming home at midnight to find her Playstation 3 missing. She told police the doors were locked and she is the only one with keys to her home. The case was handed over to the CPD Criminal Investigation Division.
