The following arrests were reported by the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office and the Columbus Police Department:
Jennifer Leigh Fancher, 35, of 3594 Highway 373, was arrested on College Street by LCSO Feb. 7 and charged with driving under the influence, careless driving, no insurance, possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana in a vehicle and possession of paraphernalia. She has not been released.
Anthony Gaige Handley, 20, of 904 Gatlin Road, was arrested on Highway 50 by LCSO Feb. 8 and charged with running a stop sign, no headlights, driving on the wrong side of the road, driving with a suspended drivers license, contempt of court and violation of probation. His court date is scheduled for Feb. 20. He has not been released.
Hiyon Romeo Harris, 35, of 60 Caribou Cove, was arrested on Highway 373 by MHP Feb. 8 and charged with driving under the influence, no insurance, no inspection sticker, no drivers license, seatbelt violation, disorderly conduct and violation of probation. His court date is scheduled for March 5. He has not been released.
Demarcus Deshown Hayden, 21, 121 Mill St., was arrested near his residence by CPD Feb. 7 and charged with contempt of court, possession of marijuana, providing false information and violation of probation. His court date is scheduled for March 6. He has not been released.
Willie D. Jennings, 46, of 163 Swedenburg Circle, was arrested at the MDOC office Feb. 6 and charged with violation of probation. He has not been released.
Davonta Lavar Hayden, 19, 1514 Third Ave. N., #B, was arrested at 1103 Shady St., by CPD and charged with two counts of burglary and larceny of a dwelling. His court date is scheduled for Aug. 20. He has not been released.
Henry Leo Spencer Sr., 54, of 2623 Fifth Ave. N., was arrested at the MDOC office Feb. 6 and charged with violation of probation. He has not been released.
Terrence Fernando Presley, 38, of 1210 Northaven Dr., was arrested at 400 Forrest Blvd., by MDOC Feb. 9 and charged with violation of probation. He has not been released.
