Good and Mast place in state corn yield contest

Philip Good of Philip Good Farms in Macon recently won second place in the A No Till/Strip Till Non-Irrigated division of the 2008 National Corn Growers'' Association''s (NCGA) Corn Yield Contest in Mississippi. Good won with PioneerĀ® brand hybrid 33N55, which yielded 202 bushels per acre.  

 


Rodney Mast of Glenn Mast Farms LLC in Crawford recently won second place in the Ridge Till Non-Irrigated division of the 2008 NCGA Corn Yield Contest in Mississippi. Mast won with PioneerĀ® brand hybrid 33N55, which yielded 220 bushels per acre. 

 


The contest is an annual competition among corn producers with the goal of producing the highest yields.
