JACKSON — Authorities in Jackson say two men are facing charges after officers intercepted a package packed with marijuana at the downtown Jackson post office.
Officer Colendula Green tells WLBT-TV in Jackson the marijuana was valued at $25,000.
Green says officers received a tip that that drugs were being sent from Los Angeles to Jackson through the mail.
Once the package arrived, postal inspectors contacted police.
Green says 21-year-old Kentrell Montrell Robinson and 22-year-old Orlando Mims, both of Jackson, were booked Wednesday with possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute.
It was not immediately clear whether they have attorneys.
