The following incidents were reported by the Columbus Police Department:
- An officer was dispatched to the 1600 block of Seventh Avenue South Aug. 30 in reference to burglary of a home.
Entry was gained by pushing in the window air conditioning unit and climbing through. A Dell desktop and an E-machine desktop and other various items were taken from the residence.
- An officer was dispatched to Industrial Street Aug. 31 in reference to burglary of a home.
Entry was gained by prying open the front door hinges. A computer and washing machine were taken from the residence.
- An officer was dispatched to 2000 block of 14th Avenue North Aug. 31 in reference to burglary of a business.
Entry was gained by removing the window air conditioning unit. Nothing was reported missing from the business.
- An officer was dispatched to Plymouth Road Sept. 1 in reference to a grand larceny.
A yellow 2002 Honda four-wheeler was reported stolen. It was stolen from under the carport sometime during the night.
- An officer was dispatched to Poplar Street Sept. 1 in reference to a burglary.
Entry was gained by kicking in the back door. Several pieces of jewelry were reported missing from the residence.
- An officer was dispatched to North Gaywood Sept. 2 in reference to malicious mischief.
A witness reported a white Lincoln LS drove through the complainant”s yard and destroyed the fence.
