A New Year’s Day shooting left a Columbus teenager injured and police searching for the suspects.
The shooting occurred at Jamestown Apartment complex at 400 Forrest Blvd., around 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, according to Latasha Key with the Columbus Police Department.
A teenaged boy sustained a gunshot wound to the leg. The shooters fled the scene in a white Nissan Maxima. The victim was transported to Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle where he was treated and released.
Further details are not being released, as the incident is still an ongoing investigation.
