Nick Dyer, a sixth-grade student from New Hope Middle School, won First Place Overall for all sixth-grade students in the state of Mississippi in the 2014 Law Day Art Contest. He created artwork related to the power of voting and its importance to every citizen in the state and country. Dyer’s artwork was displayed in the State Capitol in Jackson for Law Week, April 29-May 2. It will also be published in the Summer 2014 issue of Mississippi Lawyer Magazine.
