Are you smarter than a sixth-grader? Thursday six Mississippi University for Women faculty and staff will answer that question as they battle wits against New Hope sixth-graders. All proceeds will go to the Sally Kate Winters Memorial Children''s Home for abused or neglected children.

The contest will start at 6 p.m. in Nissan Auditorium in Parkinson Hall on the MUW campus. Bring a teddy bear, a book or a monetary donation for admission.

MUW faculty participants and the departments they represent are Amy Swingle, campus recreation; Van Roberts, communications; Dorothy Kerzel and Ross Whitwam, math and science; Kate Brown, education; and Ken Polizzi, psychology.

The fundraising event is sponsored by the MUW Mortarboard Senior Honor Society.
